TODAY'S TOP SOA & WEBSERVICES LINKS News Desk SOA Mixes Well with AJAX in New York
Some of the best attended sessions at a packed AJAXWorld involved SOA
Mar. 21, 2008 06:30 AM
Some of the best attended sessions at a packed AJAXWorld involved SOA. Scott Kirkwood's 'AJAX Brings SOA to the User' session was crowded on Day One, as was Kurt Cagle's session on 'Data and Syndicated Oriented Architecture (SynOA),' and Ian Tomlin's session 'Code Free Composition - Where SOA and Mashups Converge' was another hit. Cagle's point was how SOAP/WSDL based web services architectures are becoming increasingly obsolete as syndication languages such as Atom are becoming increasingly the primary vectors for more sophisticated data applications - syndication having long been a staple of AJAX development.
