I was asking myself a question the other day...Are 99c apps on the iTunes Appstore more popular? Lets face it everyone likes something for free and you can imagine that the free apps on the Appstore get a lot of downloads.
So I started to check out around the web and came across a great article from the guys at Mobile Orchard
My analysis after reading through it is, sure the Free apps get a LOT of downloads but surprisingly the 99c apps get roughly the same amount of downloads as the higher priced apps.
I think that shows that iPhone users know the benefit of well thought out and written software... that in turn bodes well for the iPhone developers out there.
As one of the Sybase Technical Evangelists, Ian regularly addresses technical audiences all over the world and his sessions are always very well attended.
