Kaavo has announced the public launch of Infrastructure and Middleware on Demand (IMOD), an application-focused approach to IT infrastructure management through public and private clouds.
By tapping the capabilities of cloud computing, IMOD reportedly enables users to manage infrastructure as a unified system.
IMOD provides the following services:
- Application and service centric n-tier configuration
- An interface to schedule automatic data backups
- Security and access control with a point and click interface to secure data in the clouds through the National Security Association's recommended AES-256 bit data encryption. It allows users to connect to servers, transfer data to and from internal datacenters and configure custom firewall rules on cloud servers, and
- Monitoring and alerts.
Individuals and businesses may sign up for a 30-day trial.
