Eloqua announced the Eloqua Web Services Application Programming Interface (API), a Web Services API for marketing automation. This release further extends the flexibility, functionality and ease-of-use of Eloqua’s demand generation applications. Using the Eloqua Web Services API, organizations can now integrate any application, service or non-standard Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with their Eloqua solution. This is an important announcement for users of Eloquoa. SOA helps companies take advantage of the many messaging platforms that are now available and avoid the silos that have historically built up between sales, marketing and others divisions. I hope it delivers the goods - and yet, I know that the design and coding of the process has more to do with the success of the project than in many cased, the technology. |
