Acacia Subsidiary Enters into License Agreement with Research in Motion

Acacia Research Corporation (Nasdaq: ACTG) announced today that its Contacts Synchronization Corporation subsidiary has entered into a license agreement with Research in Motion for rights to practice United States Patent No. 7,072,687, which discloses and claims technologies for synchronizing addresses between one device and another over a wireless communication network. Terms of the agreement are confidential.
