The Blackberry® Certification program will be available worldwide for the first time, thanks to a new exclusive test delivery contract between Prometric, the leading global provider of technology-enabled testing and assessment services, and Research in Motion Limited (RIM), a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of wireless solutions.
The Blackberry Certification program, launching in the spring, will be available exclusively at Prometric’s global network of over 4,700 test centers and to RIM employees at four of its corporate locations. Availability at thousands of additional locations ensures that anyone who wants to develop a Blackberry skill set, from Blackberry users or employees of service providers to someone working in pre-sales technical consulting or end-user support, will now have easy access to the program. In addition, offering the exams in the secure Prometric network in a proctored environment guarantees that the intellectual integrity of the program will be maintained.
Ray Kelly, Senior Vice President, Sales and Client Services at Prometric, stated, “Mobile technology is becoming increasingly important in everyday life, so there will continue to be a constant and critical need to have a base of people who understand the intricacies of this technology. Blackberry is already a well known and highly utilized technology – and we believe that making these certification exams widely available through Prometric’s global test center network will help foster its growth even more.”
