SUPERIOR, CO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 04/29/08 -- StillSecure®, provider of secure network infrastructure software, announced that StillSecure Safe Access® received a "Positive" rating in Gartner's "MarketScope for Network Access Control, 2008."(1) StillSecure was one of 17 vendors evaluated in the report.
According to the report, "Gartner has defined the NAC market to be those vendors that sell appliance-based or endpoint software-based NAC solutions. Gartner estimates that this market grew 87% from 2006 to a total of $225 million in 2007. Gartner anticipates that the market will grow approximately 100% in 2008."
The "Positive" rating in Gartner's "MarketScope for Network Access Control, 2008" is the latest in a long list of accolades for Safe Access, which also includes SC Magazine's 2008 Readers Trust Award for "Best Endpoint Security Solution," TechWorld's "Best Endpoint Security Product of the Year," and a Windows IT Pro "Editor's Choice" award.
"Our large base of global customers is already reaping the benefits of StillSecure's Safe Access NAC functionality to stop unauthorized access, prevent malicious endpoint activity, control guest access, and enforce their organization's security policies," said Alan Shimel, Chief Strategy Officer at StillSecure. "We believe Gartner's 'Positive' rating confirms StillSecure's position in the market and our commitment to providing customers with NAC solutions that meet their unique challenges."
