A leading IT consulting firm headquartered in Brazil has standardized, for all its server consolidation and virtualization engagements, on CiRBA's Data Center Intelligence (DCI) solution. CiRBA will be used by Microlog's Consolidation and Virtualization consulting team to analyze environments and plan consolidation initiatives, including virtualization, for clients.
"We are expanding our global reach through partnerships with leading IT consultancies like Microlog to address this need,” said Chuck Tatham, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, CiRBA. "We are extremely pleased to be working with Microlog. Server consolidation and virtualization are rapidly becoming a top priority globally for IT organizations. These organizations are faced with the same challenges in planning and management that CiRBA has resolved for organizations in North America," he added.
CiRBA's CTO and co-founder, Andrew Hillier, will be presenting next month at SYS-CON Events' Virtualization Conference & Expo 2007 in San Francisco (November 12-13). He will be speaking about the key considerations in planning for a more virtualized data center, including unexpected costs and complexities moving to virtualized environments. He will also be looking at how virtualization impacts compliance and analyzing what you be thinking about prior to making the plunge to virtualization to decrease data center costs while staying on top of IT infrastructure.
