WebLayers Extends SOA Policy Management Across Oracle SOA Suite

Latest release of WebLayers Center helps Oracle customers automate SOA

WebLayers, a provider of automated SOA Governance and member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork, has announced a solution for automated governance across the Oracle SOA Suite, a set of service infrastructure components for building, deploying and managing SOAs.

WebLayers Center 4.0 automates SOA governance with an independent, cross-platform policy management solution. Based on the largest collection of pre-built policies, WebLayers’ solution speeds governance implementation and enforcement from design-time to runtime. With this announcement, WebLayers Center adds integration with Oracle Application Server, a component of Oracle Fusion Middleware, and Oracle Database. In addition, new WebLayers Governors provide Oracle-specific policy enforcement and interoperability across the SOA life cycle by directly supporting Oracle’s SOA offering. The WebLayers Governors for Oracle SOA Suite announced include:

  • WebLayers Governor for Oracle JDeveloper
  • WebLayers Governor for Oracle Service Registry
  • WebLayers Governor for Oracle Enterprise Service Bus
  • WebLayers Governor for Oracle Web Services Manager

WebLayers Center 4.0 addresses policy management needs across the entire organization. To jump start SOA governance, WebLayers provides over 1,000 policies derived from field engagements, industry best practices, and standards bodies. The WebLayers SOA Policy Library covers all of the SOA layers including application code, services, messaging, user interface and business documents.
