Financial services company OneShield, Inc. is working with professional servcies firm PixelMEDIA, to design and implement a next generation user interface. This new 2007 user interface endeavor continues OneShield's commitment to providing their customers with a modern policy administration system, the company says.In 2006, OneShield added significant enhancements to its user interface including AJAX capabilities for transaction processing. AJAX is a web-based technology that provides high performance data streaming between a web page and back-end server resources. OneShield has created an AJAX framework that allows page fields to be hooked up to a high-performance, rule processing engine.
"Our product strategy continues to be one that perpetuates a customer-centric focus," comments Vivek Gujral, Chief Technology Officer. "With this in mind, implementing a new user interface that takes advantage of improved technology aimed at enhancing the overall performance and customer experience was a natural progression in our corporate strategy," adds Gujral.
OneShield develops browser-based solutions to automate the sales and service of insurance and bond products for insurance carriers, major brokers, and MGAs. Its flagship product, OneShield Dragon, is a tools-based, data-driven insurance underwriting, policy administration, rating and workflow engine.

OneShield has created an AJAX framework that allows page fields to be hooked up to a high-performance, rule processing engine. Fields on a page can be associated with an AJAX transaction thus allowing a quick, high-performance call to the backend, without the performance cost of posting the entire page. |
