EMC says its Symmetrix, Clariion, Celerra and Invista platforms have completed their interoperability qualification with Red Hat

EMC says its Symmetrix, Clariion, Celerra and Invista platforms have completed their interoperability qualification with Red Hat Linux.

It is now going to start a Cooperative Resolution Center to support joint customers through an enhanced agreement to exchange support readiness training, escalation information and access to a joint lab to replicate joint customer issues.

It has produced a white paper on best practices for running Oracle's 10g database (single instance) and RAC on Red Hat with its own Clariion CX3 storage.
