Located at 25 14th Street in San Francisco, the three-story, 35,000- square-foot Wag Hotel is set to redefine pet boarding options forever, with unparalleled amenities and a level of service and care never before seen in the Bay Area. A 5,600-gallon indoor swimming pool, a rooftop lawn for "business walks," and spacious indoor play areas allow guests to remain active during their stay. Pampered pooches will be spoiled with Wag's spa services, which include massages, blueberry facials, paw-dicures and other grooming services. Wag's professionally trained and ABKA-certified staff ensure that your beloved pet is treated like a star from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave.
"As a pet owner and frequent traveler, I know how important it is to have a place that ensures the health and safety of my bulldog, Zoebee -- and that's why I created Wag," said Ritu Raj, CEO of Wag Hotels. "San Franciscans love their cats and dogs and now, with the launch of our first San Francisco property, they have a boarding facility that will treat their best friends as well as they do."
Wag Hotel will celebrate its Grand Opening on Saturday, May 12 and Sunday, May 13 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with free tours of the facility, a 10% discount on all purchases and reservations, and great prizes including a free lifetime stay in Wag Hotels. Visitors are encouraged to bring their animal companions to sample some of Wag Hotel's unique amenities, including blueberry facials and massages. As a way of giving back to the community, Wag Hotel will donate 15% of all proceeds from store sales and reservations made during the celebration to Pets Are Wonderful Support (PAWS), a non-profit, volunteer- based organization that provides for the comprehensive needs of companion animals for low-income persons living with HIV/AIDS and other illnesses.
Future expansion plans through 2008 include hotels in Sunnyvale and Oakland, and throughout Southern California.
