International Cricket Council Awards ERP Mandate To SOA Company Epicor

Epicor iScala ERP And Active Planner Budgeting Solution To Be Deployed

Epicor Software announced the International Cricket Council (ICC) has awarded an integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) mandate to the company, starting with the implementation of Epicor iScala financial management and Epicor Active Planner for enterprise-wide budgeting and forecasting.

Senior officials of the ICC's ERP project team said of the decision to choose Epicor as its technology partner, that the implementation will help the cricket entity streamline its business processes with end-to-end visibility at a time of rapid growth in its activities.

"Our decision to partner with Epicor comes at a time of a rapid expansion of our activities which have highlighted the need to have an integrated ERP system to further streamline our business processes, reduce costs and save time," said Faisal Hasnain, chief financial officer of the ICC. "Scalability was also an important parameter for us in identifying the Epicor product which we are convinced is the ideal answer to handle complex functionalities with ease."

"At a time of growth, the advantage of an integrated ERP system which can be expanded in step with our enhanced activities is an imperative. With Epicor solutions we will be able to handle budgeting, analysis, tournament accounting and financial control in a streamlined manner at a lower total cost of ownership," Hasnain added.
