Piksel Unveils Its "Palette" Framework for Futureproofing the Evolution of OTT

New SOA to Drive Fast, Flexible Virtualization of IP-Video Infrastructure With Minimal Disruption to Legacy Systems

NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 04/04/14 -- Piksel, a global provider of video monetization software and services, today introduced the Piksel Palette -- a new services-oriented architecture (SOA) for the agile delivery of SaaS-based video applications. From ingest to play-out, the Piksel Palette ensures that media companies can quickly and reliably evolve existing systems and adapt to changes in the market.

With focus on ingest and play-out integrations, the new Piksel SOA will cover user experience elements like discovery, personalization, social interactivity, and unified player applications; as well as core back-end solutions for content management and delivery to connected devices, cloud encoding, digital rights management, user analytics, and managed services.
