MOGLINGEN, Germany, November 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The German USU Software AG (ISIN: DE000A0BVU28) has acquired the Systems and Service Management Software company LeuTek. The Management Board of USU and the shareholders of LeuTek have completed the corresponding contract of sale. The software company LeuTek is a manufacturer of standard software in the system and process management sector. LeuTek and USU are thus strengthening their market positions with the complementary range of services in the growth market of business service management (BSM). Peter O'Neill, principal analyst of the market research company Forrester, also responded positively to the news, "USU's Valuemation product already has the beginning of a business service management solution - the latest version of its configuration management database (CMDB) can document business services and their relationships to infrastructure assets. The addition of the LeuTek software will enable a much better real-time, end-to-end, monitoring of the business service performance."
LeuTek's major customers such as Allianz, BMW, Commerzbank, Deutsche Bundesbank, ENBW, LBBW, SwissCom and T-Systems use LeuTek basis systems for monitoring IT operations. The ZIS system, ZISGUI and ZISSLM monitor, visualize, automate and control all the systems and processes required for IT operations.
