Google's Adam Sah will present a session on "AJAX-Based Google Gadgets" at the upcoming AJAXWorld Conference & Expo in Santa Clara, California. The conference will take palce on October 2-4, 2006 at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
In under a year, AJAX-based Google Gadgets have taken off, with millions of active users, 1000s of gadgets and 1000s of developers. Already, gadgets are being seen as an important new distribution channel for web applications and content. This talk will introduce the AJAX-based API for beginners and discuss the key elements of the eco-system for content developers.
Adam Sah is the architect of Google Gadgets and the Gadget Content Directory. Prior to Google, Adam was a founding engineer at several startups, among them Inktomi and Sensage, where he is a member of the board. He holds several patents in databases and web systems.
