SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- (Marketwire) -- 03/14/13 -- Parchment, the leader in eTranscript exchange in the U.S. market with more than 1,400 member colleges and universities, now offers the broadest range of integration options for schools of all sizes.
Providing full automation for more than six years, Parchment's comprehensive integration solutions now include native student information system (SIS) integration, the iDataHub middleware client, community-developed integration software, web service integration and the installation of a print driver that brings a school up and running in 24 hours. Though the automation achieved through successful integration, hundreds of colleges and universities are realizing significant cost savings and operational efficiencies that allow school staff member time to be re-allocated to better serve students.
Texas A & M University-Corpus Christi, working with Parchment since 2011, explains, "With Parchment we have automated the entire eTranscript lifecycle including the automatic receipt of transcripts into Banner by Ellucian, where our workflow manages the process, resulting in the production of transcripts delivered by Parchment as secure official eTranscripts," said Michael Rendon, University Registrar at TAMUCC. "Parchment is the only secure document solution that can be 100% automated so that a request can come in over a weekend, holiday or break and be delivered moments later without any staff intervention."
Parchment works seamlessly with a diversity of SIS platforms, providing an automated solution to institutions large and small, public, private and proprietary. With a $6 million annual commitment to research and development, Parchment is continuing to advance its integration solutions already in place with colleges utilizing Ellucian Banner (formerly SunGard), Ellucian Colleague (formerly Datatel), Campus Management CampusVue, Jenzabar, PeopleSoft and a number of homegrown solutions; at higher education institutions including Cornell, Dartmouth, East Carolina, Georgia Institute of Technology, Kansas State University, University of Chicago, University of Colorado, and University of Minnesota.
Kansas State University has also been a Parchment member since 2011, processing more than 70,000 transcripts online during that time. "With Parchment we have automated the majority of our transcript processing, including the automatic receipt of transcript orders into our PeopleSoft student information system (iSIS), where our workflow manages the process, resulting in the production of transcripts delivered by Parchment as secure official electronic transcripts that fully retain our branding," said Monty Nielsen, University Registrar at Kansas State.
Parchment's history of providing fully automated eTranscript solutions to colleges goes back to the founding of Avow Systems in 2006, which Parchment merged with its Docufide by Parchment platform in 2012.
