TeamSnap, a mobile and web service for managing ongoing activities, today announced the launch of its Spanish iOS app. Spanish-speaking coaches, players, team managers and parents will now be able to use the app more effectively for managing their youth sports teams or group activities.

“There are 37 million Americans whose primary language is Spanish, so we felt it was important to have a solution for them,” said Dave DuPont, CEO of TeamSnap. “Additionally, we will be actively pursuing international customers who speak Spanish.”

Both the English and Spanish versions of the app are designed to make life easier for teams and groups. Coaches, players and parents can use the English or Spanish versions to check or adjust the schedule, send emails and text messages to the team, pull up contact information for members of the team, and check on player availability.

Sixty-three percent of all TeamSnap customers today use TeamSnap on a mobile device, primarily an iOS device.

“The addition of Spanish in the iOS app was a critical first step toward serving our Spanish-speaking customers,” said DuPont.

TeamSnap will also be enhancing its web application for Spanish access and will add additional languages in its mobile apps in the near future.
