Alvarion® Postpones Earnings Release Due to Ongoing Negotiations to Sell its Carrier Licensed Business

Alvarion® Ltd. (NASDAQ:ALVR) a global provider of optimized wireless broadband solutions addressing the connectivity, coverage and capacity challenges of public and private networks, announces the postponement of its fourth quarter and full year 2012 earnings release and conference call, which was previously scheduled for today, Wednesday, February 20, 2013, due to ongoing negotiations to sell its licensed carrier business. There is no assurance that such negotiations will result in the execution of a definitive agreement.

The earnings release has been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 6, 2013, during pre-market hours. In conjunction with the earnings release, Alvarion’s management will host a conference call at 9:00 a.m. ET.

The conference call dial-in information will be provided separately.
