Linguamatics verbessert seine marktführende Text Mining Plattform durch die Einführung einer neuen Web Services API, virtuelle Datenintegration und neue Fähigkeiten auf chemischem Gebiet

Linguamatics ist stolz, die Einführung einer entscheidend verbesserten Version seiner bereits erfolgreichen und anerkannten Text Mining Softwareplattform I2E bekannt geben zu können. Zu den signifikanten Verbesserungen der jüngsten Version 4.0 gehören unter anderem die Bereiche Web Services, virtuelle Datenintegration und Chemie. Diese Verbesserungen sind die Folge des anhaltenden Engagements von Linguamatics im Bereich der Forschung und auf dem Gebiet der technologischen Entwicklung.

Web Services API: Die neue Linguamatics I2E WSAPI (Web Services API) wird die Möglichkeiten, die das hochmoderne und auf der Verarbeitung natürlicher Sprache (Natural Language Processing, NLP) beruhende Text Mining bietet, einem breiteren Anwenderkreis innerhalb einer Organisation durch einfachere und spezifischere Schnittstellen für unterschiedliche Aufgabenbereiche zur Verfügung stellen. Diese Organisationen profitieren daher von einer bequemeren Einbettung der Text Mining Technologie in die Kernsysteme und Arbeitsabläufe durch intuitive, zugängliche und maßgeschneiderte Schnittstellen.

Virtuelle Datenintegration: Unabhängig davon, wie disparat die auszuwertenden Datenquellen vorgefunden werden, ist I2E nun in der Lage, Informationen und Erkenntnisse simultan aus all diesen Quellen zu extrahieren und zu analysieren. Somit können die Nutzer die Extraktion der gewünschten Informationen enorm beschleunigen, da keine separaten Suchvorgänge für eine Vielzahl von Datenquellen durchgeführt werden müssen. Darüber hinaus werden Abfragen erleichtert, die eine Verbindung zwischen den unterschiedlichen Datenquellen herstellen. Auf diese Weise werden Informationen aus unterschiedlichen Datenspeichern zusammengetragen, um neue Erkenntnisse zu gewinnen.

Moderne Chemie: Linguamatics I2E steht nun ebenfalls zur Verfügung, um neue Zusammensetzungen erkennen zu können. Auf diese Weise werden Informatiker, Wissenschaftler und Patentanalytiker in der Lage sein, bislang noch nicht ausreichend untersuchte Gebiete im Hinblick auf ihre Innovationsfähigkeit zu erforschen. Das Erkennen und die Zuordnung chemischer Bezeichnungen ermöglicht eine funktionsorientierte Suche, etwa nach Chemikalien, die eine bestimmte Struktur oder Teilstruktur oder ähnliche Eigenschaften aufweisen.

Die Anwender werden auch von dem neuen Funktionsumfang profitieren. Hierzu gehört auch eine neues Berichtsformat für Abfrageergebnisse. Mithilfe der Produktinnovationen aus Version 4.0 werden mehr Anwender in der Lage sein, NLP-basiertes Text Mining auf einfachere und ausgeklügeltere Weise und mit größerem Nutzen einzusetzen.
