Cape Clear Wins SOA Award

Cape Clear Software has been awarded the "IC Award for Excellence" by the Integration Consortium, a leading industry body responsible for influencing the direction of the integration industry. Cape Clear, a leading provider of Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) solutions to enable Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), was recognized through its participation in the Integration Solution Showcase at this year's Global Integration Summit. Cape Clear's unified solution, built on open standards such as WSDL, XML schema, BPEL and XLST, quickly and effectively delivered the integration application defined by the challenge.

The Integration Solution Showcase required vendors to develop a real-world, real-time solution for a fictional integration problem typical enterprises may face. The vendors were judged on the accuracy, speed, applicability, usability and uniqueness of the developed solution. The Award of Excellence was given to those companies that exceeded the threshold of excellence in terms of solution delivery, innovation, thought leadership and contribution of value to the integration industry.

"The goal of a strong SOA solution is to provide rapid and smooth integration into any environment," said Annrai O'Toole, CEO for Cape Clear Software. "The Integration Consortium's recognition of Cape Clear's ESB solution further validates our adherence to open standards and proves that, with the right approach to SOA, enterprises can address complex integration problems with one simple, unified solution."

The challenge issued by the Integration Solution Showcase was to create an integration system for a complex mortgage application process used by a fictional company. Over the course of two days, Cape Clear developed a solution that quickly and efficiently met those objectives. Because Cape Clear's ESB is based on open standards technology, customers can easily enable integration within any IT environment, providing a viable solution to the complex integration challenge proposed during the summit. Overall, Cape Clear's solution was awarded second place as voted by all attendees of the Global Integration Summit.
