Speaker Bio:
Sergei Tsarev is CTO and Co-Founder of Clustrix. Before that he led the Internet Operations Systems Infrastructure team at AOL, designing large-scale monitoring and configuration management systems. His accomplishments include developing the Simple Time-series Database (STDB), a high performance data storage engine for operational monitoring metrics. STDB uses commodity hardware to linearly scale to hundreds of thousands of writes per second.
