Lanner Simulation Components and IDS Scheer have entered into a technology partnership to provide the IDS Scheer ARIS Platform for Process Excellence with Lanner's new simulation product, L-Sim. It enables the user to significantly boost ROI through improved business processes as a result of more refined analysis.
Lanner recently announced the development of a Java based component known as L-Sim, for the simulation of Business Processes. L-Sim will support the generation of the simulation model from the host application data, execute the simulation, provide feedback messaging to drive animation and provide statistical results in a totally integrated manner.
The technology partnership between Lanner and IDS Scheer will extend IDS Scheer's Java based ARIS BPM solution to include simulation through the embedding of the Lanner L-Sim software. This will provide extended analytical capability to ARIS users and enable improved design and implementation of business processes, leading to 'round trip' execution and analysis loops. The new simulation can also be executed on standards such as BPMN.
David Jones, CEO, Lanner Group adds; "Part of Lanner's product strategy is to become the leading supplier of simulation components for BPM through strategic partnerships with major BPM players, where the Lanner software is embedded within broader, complete BPM toolsets. We are delighted that IDS Scheer has made Lanner their partner of choice for development of simulation within their products."
Wolfram Jost, member of the IDS Scheer executive board with responsibility for Product Development. "ARIS is the world market leading software for BPM. Customer requirements on simulation scenarios for processes pose completely new challenges for our ARIS Platform. We chose Lanner as partner for the new ARIS Simulation product because we see them as market leader for simulation and as professional and competent partners for the development of a new and outstanding solution for business process simulation."
Simulation is Lanner's core competency and now with both its WITNESS Windows based market-leading simulation tool solution set and L-Sim building on a Java technology platform, Lanner has unique capability to build deployment and delivery of simulation based solutions and projects globally.
