CHICAGO, Feb. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Celebrating its 25th year, United's award-winning Mileage Plus(R) program will now offer new rewards to customers for their loyalty. Throughout the year, Mileage Plus members have up to four new opportunities to earn their choice of additional rewards including the chance to win a golfer's dream vacation to Hawaii or $250 Neiman Marcus gift card. These new rewards require no mileage redemption and are in addition to miles members earn as well as other elite benefits they receive.
"Throughout this anniversary year, we'll be offering more reward choices as a way to truly recognize our most loyal customers," said Kenneth Feldman, vice president, Loyalty & e-commerce. "The more our customers fly, the sooner they can reach one of our four new distinct milestones. Each milestone offers customers the opportunity to choose unique rewards -- rewards they have told us they would really enjoy."
This year, Mileage Plus members can choose a new reward when they reach each of the following milestones: 40,000 Elite Qualifying Miles (EQM) or 40 Elite Qualifying Segments (EQS); 75,000 EQM or 75 EQS; 125,000 EQM or 125 EQS; and 300,000 EQM or 300 EQS.
Examples of new Mileage Plus reward choices include: -- Multiple sweepstakes entries for a chance to win a golfer's dream vacation to Hawaii -- $250 Neiman Marcus gift card -- Dinner with a United executive -- One-time passes to United Red Carpet Club -- $100 off discount certificates for Hyatt hotel stays -- Triple flight miles in July 2007 -- Upgrades -- The ability to nominate another Mileage Plus member to elite status
Customers will be notified via e-mail upon reaching each milestone and will be able to select the reward of their choice. For more information, complete terms and conditions, and to register, visit http://www.united.com/2006choice .
