Infravio And SRA Team Up To Distribute SOA Governance Tool

SRA Will Distribute Infravio X-Registry Platform And Provide Front-Line Support For Infravio In Japan

Infravio, Inc., a provider of SOA software, announced a sales and implementation partnership with Software Research Associates, Inc. (SRA), a system integrator. As part of this partnership deal, Infravio signed an agreement with SRA to distribute the company's flagship Infravio X-Registry Platform and provide sales and front-line support for Infravio in Japan.

Infravio will leverage its partnership with SRA to tap into the growing demand for SOA in Asia. To successfully deliver Web services products to this expanding market, Infravio will immediately leverage SRA's reputation as a leading SI with strong brand recognition for comprehensive sales, marketing and technical support in Asia.

"SOA and Web Services are a key part of SRA's Software strategy, so we conducted thorough technical evaluations in an effort to find software partners," said Dr. Rao M. Papolu of SRA America. "Infravio clearly showed itself to be the technically superior foundation for SOA Governance. As companies move beyond UDDI pilot projects, Infravio's approach of an integrated Registry Repository with Service Delivery Contracts provides the richest platform for enterprise scale SOA deployments."

"Infravio chose SRA as a partner because of its commitment to open standards and advanced technologies like SOA and PostgreSQL," said Srinivas Balasubramanian(pictured) , CEO of Infravio. "We feel we have a strongly aligned partner with SRA."

The now mainstream platform changes stemming from the first Internet boom brought many changes but didn’t really change the basic relationship between servers and the applications running on them. In fact, that was sort of the point. In his session at 18th Cloud Expo, Gordon Haff, senior cloud strategy marketing and evangelism manager at Red Hat, will discuss how today’s workloads require a new model and a new platform for development and execution. The platform must handle a wide range of rec...
Containers and Kubernetes allow for code portability across on-premise VMs, bare metal, or multiple cloud provider environments. Yet, despite this portability promise, developers may include configuration and application definitions that constrain or even eliminate application portability. In this session we'll describe best practices for "configuration as code" in a Kubernetes environment. We will demonstrate how a properly constructed containerized app can be deployed to both Amazon and Azure ...
