Yesterday, JetBrains shared details on the successful open-sourcing of IntelliJ IDEA one year on.
In short:
* There’s been no drop in sales of IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate
* A 25% increase in new customers over the same period last year
* IntelliJ IDEA 10 is planned for release later this fall, with more functionality available in the free Community edition
* Android development plugin available in free IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition
* IntelliJ IDEA Community Wiki at wiki.jetbrains.net opens and welcomes your contributions
