Originally based in Copenhagen, Denmark, Kapow Technologies has been shipping the Kapow web integration platform for three years, and has added more than 85 enterprise customers to its roster including Wells Fargo, Penske Truck Leasing, Credit Suisse First Boston and Deutsche Post.
“After achieving two straight years of significant growth, the time is now to capitalize on our success and expand further into international markets,” said Stefan Andreasen, company founder and CTO. “After a thourough CEO candidate search, we determined that Glenn Hasen is the ideal person to lead Kapow Technologies through this exciting next phase, because he has a strong track record of managing early-stage technology companies to success, and in creating and leading new market categories.”
Hasen has more than 20 years of management experience at enterprise software companies. Prior to joining Kapow Technologies, Hasen was founding executive and CEO of Blue Titan Software, a services-oriented architecture provider. Before Blue Titan, he was the the executive responsible for Pivotal Software’s explosive growth that included the establishment of its early market leadership, international expansion and a successful initial public offering (IPO).
Prior to Blue Titan and Pivotal, he held several executive positions at Information Builders and Computer Associates both domestically and internationally, where he had a reputation for identifying and seizing new market opportunities.
