Breeze is delivered through Macromedia Flash Player, which forms the backbone of the Macromedia Flash Platform and is currently installed on nearly 600 million Internet-connected desktops and mobile devices. This pervasive platform commands a million-strong developer community and leverages existing content on an array of devices. Users can instantly access Breeze from any standard web browser without downloading or installing software.
Spirit's multipoint voice conferencing engine allows several Breeze conference users to speak and be heard simultaneously, complying with the stringent voice quality requirements of enterprise and service provider customers. Industry-leading echo cancellation and jitter buffer features manage audio quality and maintain low latency even with network congestion.
"The open and flexible architecture of Breeze makes it easy to incorporate and scale best-of-breed technology," said Andrew Sviridenko, founder and chairman, Spirit. "Our company's multipoint voice conferencing engine gives Breeze users the highest quality experience possible, allowing simultaneous conversations without echo or breaks in the audio."
