Further cementing its position as The Largest Cloud Computing Event in the World, the organizers of the 7th International Cloud Expo being held at the Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara, CA, on November 1-4, 2010, announced today that the event will also feature - on November 2nd, 2010 - a CloudCamp unconference.
CloudCamp @Cloud Expo Silicon Valley is aimed at anyone working with, or interested in working with, cloud technologies.
"With the rapid change occurring in the industry, we need a place where we can meet to share our experiences, challenges and solutions," said CloudCamp co-founder Dave Nielsen, who will personally be facilitating the process on site at the Santa Clara Convention Center. "At CloudCamp," Nielsen continued, "participants will be encouraged to share their thoughts in several open discussions, as we strive for the advancement of Cloud Computing."

End users, IT professionals and vendors are all encouraged to participate, Nielsen notes. Registration for CloudCamp @CloudExpo, which is free, is here - and all registering will additionally receive complimentary access to all three days of Cloud Expo. They will each receive a VIP Gold pass to Cloud Expo, good for access to all sessions, all tracks, on all days. (Housekeeping note: VIP Gold passes do not include Luncheons.)
"We are delighted to be able to provide a venue for CloudCamp @CloudExpo," said Jeremy Geelan, Cloud Expo Conference Chair. "Supporting an unconference within Cloud Expo is intended as a value-add service to all Cloud Expo attendees who may wish to take advantage of it. Cloud Expo is all in favor of advancing the current state of cloud computing and related technologies in as many different ways as possible."
