The company appoints two additional key senior technical personnel
Solihull, November 24th 2009- Oceanus, supplier of ECM solutions for customer acquisition and customer service environments, today announced the appointment of two key additions to their team, Dean Armitage as senior Application Architect and Ian Wilson as Product Manager. These appointments bring the total to four new senior positions that have been created at the company in just the last two months.
Both Dean and Ian each have over 20years experience in the IT industry. Dean's role will be to drive and co-ordinate the main functions of Oceanus' Technical Services including defining the direction of solution architectures, business development evaluation and research of core technologies. Ian will be responsible for coordinating product management functions for the company including evaluating Oceanus' new products as well as third party offerings, ensuring adherence to company technical standards and approved platforms.
Dean came from Getronics where he was Information Management Consultant and brings to Oceanus his deep experience in Business Process Design, Database Design, Content Repository Design and Application Design as well as C#, and Java skills. Ian was also previously at Getronics as Application Architect and his specialist areas are ECM and systems architecture.
Nick Rowley, managing director of Oceanus said: "Their combined experience of working on IBM®/FileNet® projects for IBM's ECM Lab Services and their practical understanding of IBM's FileNet P8 Platform enhances the deep skill sets relevant to the broadening needs of Oceanus.
