OpSource announced that SecuCloud has successfully deployed OpSource On-Demand to bring its business-critical database security and compliance solution to the enterprise. SecuCloud offers a comprehensive and automated database security and compliance solution that is designed from the bottom-up to meet the specific needs of each company or enterprise. SecuCloud chose OpSource On-Demand to provide the infrastructure of the new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) version of this solution because of OpSource On-Demand's unmatched reliability, security and partner-friendly reputation.
"As we move to cloud computing, more and more enterprises are aware of just how vital it is to protect their data," said Gajanan Bhat, founder, president and CEO, SecuCloud. "By teaming with OpSource, we can offer companies the most secure solution possible while also taking advantage of SaaS computing's attractive pay-as-you-go model. This is a winning combination for us and our customers."
OpSource's reputation for supporting its partners also was a key factor in SecuCloud's decision. The company first heard of OpSource through a customer referral. "OpSource offers its partners unprecedented support and thought leadership," Bhat said. "We know that not only is our infrastructure safe with OpSource but, by teaming with OpSource, we are ensuring that our customers always have access to the most advanced on-demand technology and thinking. As a sales-driven company, we can concentrate on our strengths and grow our business further, while OpSource keeps our technology ahead of any competitors' offerings."
"SecuCloud's use of OpSource On-Demand demonstrates how moving to a SaaS model can actually increase enterprises' performance and peace of mind, especially in critical areas such as security and compliance," said Treb Ryan, CEO, OpSource. "We are pleased to partner with SecuCloud to help more and more companies embrace the power of on-demand computing."
OpSource On-Demand empowers SaaS ISVs to bring the Cloud to the enterprise by quickly and securely delivering their applications and services over the Web. Going far beyond full-featured managed hosting, the Cloud operations solution includes the application management, compliance and business services that are necessary for on-demand business success.
