Managed Methods - Boulder, Colorado announces a partnership with Intrago to optimize the governance of SOA deployments. SOA deployments are becoming the ubiquitous architecture for application integration. More and more companies realize the advantages of building business processes using SOA fundamentals. This is a shift from the way applications are being built. In many cases the expertise for building these services are just not available in house. More often than not these projects are being outsourced to external consulting firms.
As these applications are being deployed, a need for governance becomes paramount. Companies that deploy these applications need tools to provide them with visibility and control at runtime.
This visibility and control might include the following needs:
- Monitoring Performance and availability
- Security
- Versioning, brokering, and virtualization
- Auditing and consumer usage metering
- Alerting and Reporting
- Closed Loop Governance with commercial service registry and repositories for automation of policy enforcement.
Managed Methods and Intrago UK are partnering to provide companies with resources necessary to develop, deploy and govern such SOA solutions.
"The partnership with Intrago is a winning option for companies that would like to move into an SOA architecture with ROI being their main focus." said Al Aghili Chief Technology Officer of Managed Methods. " There are many open source tools such as Sun Glass Fish products that allow for deployment of these applications and with the cost-effective nature of JaxView from Managed Methods these deployments can be done with low cost and a high return on investment."
